Project Title: Next-Generation Double Torsion Springs

The project is implemented under the Call for Proposals “Strengthening Strategic Partnerships for Innovation in the Industrial Transition Process”, reference code IP.1.1.03, where the Ministry of Regional Development and European Union Funds acts as the Managing Authority, and the Croatian Agency for SMEs, Innovation and Investments – HAMAG-BICRO serves as the Intermediate Body Level 2 (IB2) for operations implementation.

The project is carried out within the framework of the Integrated Territorial Program for the period 2021–2027, Priority I – Industrial Transition of Croatian Regions.

Project Objective:
The project “Next-Generation Double Torsion Springs” aims to develop and implement innovative double torsion springs OptiFlex and Duraflex, in line with the latest Industry 4.0 standards. This includes the integration of advanced manufacturing technologies, automation, and digitalization through the development of a new production line.

Short Description of Activities:
The project is implemented by a research consortium of three SMEs (POD d.o.o., ENSO d.o.o., Phoenix d.o.o.). The Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences Osijek will participate as a collaborator and will conduct field testing of the innovative products.
The project includes five activities: industrial research for product development, experimental product development, a feasibility study, project management, and promotion and visibility.
Industrial research covers TRL 2, TRL 3, and TRL 4. Experimental development includes TRL 5, TRL 6, TRL 7, and TRL 8.
