01 - Challenge

Hollow plastic cylinders needed gentle handling without the impacts of a vibratory bowl

Strojotehnika needed to feed large hollow plastic cylinders without the risk of damage or impacts that can occur in a conventional vibratory bowl. The parts are too large and too light for standard vibratory sorting.

What was needed was a solution that lifts the parts and passes them on without shaking, in two identical systems.

02 - Solution

A climbing step feeder that lifts parts step by step

We built step feeders on AFAG drives that lift the plastic cylinders step by step, plate by plate, instead of shaking them by vibration.

Two identical systems were delivered, built on the same climbing feed principle.

Gentle handling

The climbing principle without vibratory shaking protects the plastic cylinders from impacts and damage.

2 identical systems

Both feeders work on the same climbing feed principle, which simplifies maintenance.

AFAG drive

A reliable drive for lifting the plates through the full stroke of each step.

03 - Result

Two step feeders in operation, with no damage to the parts
