Robust feeders for large parts
The step (climbing) feeder is used for parts that are too big for bowl feeder or need gentle handling, without the risk of impacts or damage that can occur in a conventional vibratory bowl. The hopper holds a volume sized for a given number of parts, and moving plates lift the parts upward step by step, without vibratory shaking.
Operating principle
The hopper has a volume sized for a given number of parts. The plates move and lift the parts upward step by step; at the top, a track receives the individual parts, which are then conveyed further and oriented.
