Feeders for part separation
The linear vibratory feeder takes correctly oriented parts from the circular sorting bowl and acts as a buffer before the next process step - usually a separator that prepares the parts one by one for pick and place, or direct entry into the machine. The track is made of stainless steel or as a 3D printed guide, adapted to the part shape and the process cycle time.
Role in the system
The linear feeder works in tandem with the circular feeder: the bowl orients the part, and the linear track buffers it and delivers it to the separator or workstation.
Versions
We offer stainless steel tracks with AFAG drive for metal and abrasive parts, and 3D printed tracks with part presence sensors for lighter plastic parts.
