Drum feeder description
The main part of the drum feeder is the drum that scatters the pieces onto the linear feeder. This kind of solution is suitable for pieces that tend to become heavily tangled, for example like springs.
The picture shows the complete system with a stand, shields, sensors, motor, and control box. The drum is made of plexiglass.
Inside the drum, there is a linear feeder that drives the parts out of the drum. The control system logic ensures that the springs do not become tangled again and remain separated.
