How it works

Cleaning grids with rotating brushes after firing

BURE cleans carrier grids to which parts stick after the firing process, for TDK Croatia in Kutina. The operator simply places the uncleaned grids in the input container, from where rails direct them toward pneumatic cylinders and a lifting table that transfers the grid to the pickup and transport system.

Two linear axes, connected by a solid shaft driven by a stepper motor, transport the grid through the rotating brush system - one gripper is passive, the other is driven by a pneumatic cylinder. Two rotating brushes, driven by an asynchronous motor and assisted by a vacuum intake, clean the stuck parts off the grid before it reaches the output container.

Control

Interface and control logic

The height of each of the two rotating brushes is adjusted manually and independently of the other via threaded spindles, according to the position at which the grid passes between them.

Physical control station

  • Input container for uncleaned grids
  • Threaded spindles for manual brush positioning
  • Output container for cleaned grids

Functionality

  • Monitoring grid transport through the brush system
  • Tracking the status of the grippers on the linear guides
Installed equipment and features

Technical details

Two rotating brushes

An asynchronous motor drives the brushes that remove stuck parts from the grid, while a vacuum intake carries the dust away.

Manual brush positioning

The height of each brush is adjusted independently via threaded spindles, according to the position at which the grid passes.

Guided grid transport

Linear guides with two grippers hold the grid in an exact position throughout the cleaning process.
