How it works

Mixing by turning the cans and swinging the roller assembly

TUMIX homogenizes heterogeneous mixtures in cans for TDK Croatia in Kutina. The operator sets the mixing parameters via SCADA, after which the cabin doors unlock. Inside the cabin, the cans containing the mixture are placed onto the rollers.

After the doors are closed, the machine starts mixing - the cans turn on the rollers in a direction that prevents the lid from unscrewing, while swinging the whole roller assembly further improves mixing. SCADA visualizes the status of each can (empty, mixing in progress, mixing finished) and reports when the set time has elapsed and the can is ready to be taken out.

Machine control is done with a PLC, while the operator sets and monitors all mixing parameters through the SCADA system.

Turning and swinging

Combining the turning of the cans on the rollers with swinging of the whole roller assembly ensures uniform homogenization of the mixture.

Locked cabin

The cabin doors lock automatically during the mixing cycle and unlock only once the parameters have been set.

SCADA monitoring per can

The system tracks the status of each can separately - empty, mixing or finished.

Thermal protection

The motors and heater have thermal protection that prevents overheating during longer cycles.
